What We Do

Commitment to Innovation

Magnecine is the first non-steroidal, non-opioid analgesic for treatment-resistant pain due to Painful Damaged Disc Syndrome (PDDS) — including disc bulges, protrusions, and herniations. This proprietary composition and its method are the first analgesic medication designed specifically for damaged, painful discs, with treatment effectiveness greater than 80%.

This patented method offers a promising solution for individuals suffering from chronic back pain, setting a new standard in pain management. After a series of treatments, the pain most often does not return, and improved spinal health is achieved — in many cases replacing the need for invasive spinal epidural injections and surgeries.

Proprietary Composition

Combines a well-known anti-inflammatory agent with a magnesium salt recognized for its antioxidant, vasodilating, and antispasmodic properties.

Non-Opioid & Non-Steroidal

The first analgesic designed specifically for Painful Damaged Disc Syndrome — without the risks of opioids or steroids.

Lasting Relief

After a series of treatments, pain most often does not return. In many cases, replaces the need for invasive epidural injections and surgeries.

Dual-Action Composition

Progressive Health Partners, formed in 2023, comprised of Dr. Mark Bartiss, Dr. Daniel Bies, and Dianne Dalton. They have developed a promising treatment for refractory intervertebral disc-related syndromes and disorders, collectively known as Painful Damaged Disc Syndrome (PDDS). This includes disc protrusion, bulge, and herniation. ADDRESSING A SIGNIFICANT HEALTH CRISIS PDDS affects over 400 million people globally, with 10–15% suffering from treatment-resistant forms of the disease. For those who have exhausted conventional therapies such as: physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic and bed rest. Current options are limited to: • Spinal Surgery: Invasive with variable success rates. • Epidural Injections: Often provide only temporary relief. • Opioids: Carry high risks of addiction and long-term side effects. THE PATENTED SOLUTION: MAGNECINE • Pharmaceutical Composition: The treatment utilizes Magnecine intravenously via an IV drip. • Intellectual Property: – Method of Use Patent: Granted April 9th, 2024 (US11,951,084). – Compound Continuation Patent: A follow-up application for the compound itself was published on October 31st, 2024 (US 2024/0358660). – PCT accepted in the following countries: Japan, China, Germany, India, Canada, and Israel and USA. EFFECTIVE PAIN RELIEF & REGENERATIVE POTENTIAL • Regenerative Impact: Unlike standard analgesics, Magnecine is designed as a disease-modifying treatment that targets the underlying pathology of disc degeneration rather than just masking symptoms and is highly effective for permanent pain relief. • Broad Application: Beyond the use for PDDS, the anti-inflammatory properties of this intravenous combination suggest potential therapeutic benefit for many inflammatory conditions characterized by cytokine over-activity and oxidative stress. • Regulatory: 505 (b)(2) regulatory pathway and potential for Fast Track and Breakthrough Therapy designation due to: Novel Mechanism, addressing the immediate need for opioid sparing pain management. • Proof of Concept: Real World experience of doctors offering this therapy to thousands of patients for decades. OBJECTIVES AND NEEDS Progressive Health Partners aims to bring this non-steroidal, non-opioid analgesic to market as a safer, more effective alternative to the above mentioned therapies. To achieve this, they are seeking to establish licensing opportunities which would grant the right to exclusively develop and commercialize Magnecine for the treatment of resistant painful intervertebral disc disease.
